Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the first day of his visit to Kazan for the BRICS summit, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
During the meeting, they discussed in detail the pressing issues of deepening Uzbek-Turkish relations within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
The leaders emphasized the need to enhance cooperation in various fields, including politics, trade, economics, investment, culture, and humanitarian projects.
The presidents confirmed the importance of continuing intensive bilateral contacts and experience exchanges. Special attention was given to promoting joint projects in areas such as geology, mineral extraction, electrical engineering, machine building, healthcare, and education.
They also highlighted the significance of regularly conducting cultural and humanitarian events and exchanged views on key international and regional issues.
