Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 February, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with the executive director of the Singapore company Templeton Asset Management Manraj Sekhon.

The parties discussed the progress of the implementation of joint projects and agreements signed during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Singapore in January 2023, as well as issues of further development of cooperation.

The process of creating a National Investment Fund, designed to help attract foreign direct investment to Uzbekistan, is considered.
