Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 April, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held negotiations with the general manager of the Kuwaiti company Marafie Group Abdulhakim Marafi.

Founded in 1919, Marafie Group is listed as one of the "Top 100 Arab Family Businesses" by Forbes. The company mainly represented in the fields of trade, construction, production and design and includes 30 companies and owns more than 300 brands. The number of employees exceeds 1,500 people.

Highly appreciating the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, the Kuwaiti side expressed its readiness to take part in the implementation of the presented major project initiatives in the field of agriculture.

Abdulhakim Marafi also noted the great potential in the field of construction, banking, tourism, and the service sector and confirmed the company’s interest in jointly developing new investment projects and further developing cooperation.
