Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 9 July, during his visit to the Russian Federation, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, attended the "Innoprom-2024" industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg.

The exhibition area of "Innoprom-2024" covered 50,000 square meters and showcased products from China, Turkey, the UAE, Belarus, and other countries. The event’s program included more than 100 round tables and panel sessions on topics such as industrial development, investment, trade relations, and energy.

A key event of the exhibition was the panel session "Horizon – 2035: SCO – the Axis of the Global Economy." In his speech, Laziz Kudratov highlighted the importance of Uzbekistan’s proposal to create a cooperation program within the framework of the new economic dialogue, aimed at implementing mechanisms for encouraging and mutually protecting investments within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He also emphasized the development of financing mechanisms for project development and industrial cooperation.

During his visit to Yekaterinburg, Laziz Kudratov also held meetings with heads of various ministries, regions, and companies in the Russian Federation.

In particular, detailed discussions were held with the new Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, on current agreements and concrete plans for further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.

The events held as part of Innoprom-2024 demonstrated a positive attitude and readiness of both sides to deepen trade-economic and investment cooperation, as well as to continue joint work on new promising projects and initiatives.
