Uzbek State Statistics Committee said that 4.14 trillion soums were directed to enterprises in non-governmental sector and 1.669 trillion soums to businesses in state sector.
At the same time, 54.9% of investments fell to share of resources of population and businesses and 21.9% - foreign investments and credits, the committee said. It added that 11.1% of investments came from state budget of Uzbekistan and 4.4% were credits of banks and other loans and 8% - resources of off-budget funds.
It should be noted that non-governmental sector did not receive any resources from the state budget of Uzbekistan.
Production industries utilized investments for 4.132 trillion soums and non-production industries received 1.677trillion soums, or 71.1% and 28.9% in total investments into fixed capital.
In production industries, the large amount investments were directed to transport and communication (27.2% from total investments), fuel-energy industry (14.5%), geology and natural resources extraction (8%).
In non-production industries, the investments were directed to healthcare (12.2%) and construction of habitation (11.2%).
Transport and communication (32.4%), fuel-energy (21%) and geology and natural resources extraction (20.1%) industries attracted the largest volume of foreign investments and credits.
