All the law-enforcement agencies and the public at large had taken an active part in the event in the town of Margilan.
The observance of the passport and visa regime as well as that of fire safety and traffic security rules by citizens had been thoroughly checked. Meetings and conversations were being held with reforming people, and crime prevention officers and road patrol and other services had stepped up their work.
As part of the “Antiterror-Cleansing” operation and with the aim of ensuring traffic security, safe traffic ethics were being propagated among drivers and pedestrians. The Traffic Security Day campaign was being carried out to this end. Measures were being taken against violators of traffic rules.
