Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 March this year, a delegation of a major manufacturer of electrical equipment from the Russian Federation, the Torum enterprise, headed by director Andrey Deykalo, visited the Mirishkor district and reached initial agreements on the start of a new project.

The management of the Torum enterprise, which produces transformer substations with a capacity of up to 10 kVA and switching electrical equipment, made another visit to Mirishkor district, where they met with specialists in the field, headed by the khokim of the region Sherali Sanaev.

The parties came to an agreement on the project and the Torum enterprise registered the Mir Eltekhnika joint venture, which will be located in the above-mentioned district.

The annual production capacity of transformers, following the launch of the project, will be one thousand units, and the number of new jobs will be 50 units.
