Lack of tax accounting policy to lead to fine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tax consultants recommend approving the document as soon as possible, since it will most likely be requested at the very first office audit. For his absence, regardless of the reasons, a fine is imposed.

With the adoption of the Tax Code, all organizations had to develop and approve tax accounting policies, and organizations had enough time for this. In the first months of the new Tax Code, tax authorities rarely asked for this document, they treated entrepreneurs with understanding. But this does not mean that it will always be so. This is evidenced by a reminder recently disseminated by the Department of Accounting and Auditing Methodology of the Ministry of Finance.

The absence of a tax accounting policy at an enterprise is regarded as a serious violation of the Accounting Law, for which an official can be fined on the basis of Art. 175-1 Administrative Responsibility Code. The size of the fine can range from 5 to 10 BRV, and in case of repeated prosecution for the same offense committed within a year after the administrative penalty - from 10 to 20 basic estimated basis.
