Border guards of two countries positively assessed current level of cooperation in ensuring state border security and coordinating joint efforts on ensuring law and order at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border.

The sides agreed to approve model of joint patrolling of separate Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border and introduce proposals to the government on necessity to boost activity of the joint intergovernmental commission on delimitation and demarcation to speed up the process.

They also agreed to exchange information on state at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek borders on regular basis.
