Daniyar Usenov said: “In line with achieved agreements with the Uzbek side, from January 2010, gas supplies to Uzbekistan will be carried out without interruption and at the new price – US$220 per thousand cubic meters.”

As earlier reported, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on gas supplies for 2010 on 28 December 2009.

In 2009, Kyrgyzstan purchased natural gas from Uzbekistan at the price of US$240 per thousand cubic meters.
