Kyrgyzstan fully repays gas debt to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kyrgyzstan fully repaid its debt for gas to Uzbekistan on 16 December 2009. Kyrgyzstan directed US$3 million to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz media reported.

Kyrgyzgaz JSC said the work on determining necessary volume of gas to Kyrgyzstan in 2010. The country plans to complete process by 25 December 2009.

Kyrgyzgaz is planning to hold talks with Uzbekistan on gas price for 2010 on 20-30 December 2009.
