During the meeting, they also noted fruitful cooperation between the two brotherly countries and highlighted the need for boosting cooperation between government agencies and regions of the two countries.

Kyrgyzstan came to agreement with Uzbekistan to restructure its debts in 2007. Ednan Karabayev suggested making an inventory of agreements and preparing a treaty-fixed legal basis at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental committee’s seventh session.

Ziyodulla Polatkhojayev wished a happy New Year to Ednan Karabayev and the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry’s general staff, and wished a fruitful year to Kyrgyz diplomats.
