Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 October 2024, a business forum aimed at enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait was held in Tashkent.

During the event, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial cooperation with Kuwaiti companies, highlighting successful projects in healthcare, agriculture, and tourism.

Speeches and presentations addressed opportunities for bilateral collaboration in key sectors such as mining, energy, healthcare, agriculture, textiles, and logistics.

Initiatives were announced to engage the investment opportunities created in the country, including the participation of Kuwaiti businesses in the privatization program of over 1,000 state companies and improvements to logistics infrastructure, with the aim of transforming Central Asia into a global trade hub.
