Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek Ambassador Ayyubkhon Yunusov met with Muhammad Ahmad Al-Jarallah, head of the Jarallah Al-Aani Centers Group, and Ali Mahdizade, Executive Director of Kuwait Medical International, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the meeting, the center’s leaders highly praised the quality of training for doctors and nurses in Uzbekistan and raised the issue of recruiting them to work in Kuwait.
There is a particular demand for nursing staff proficient in English to work in Kuwaiti clinics and hospitals based on medical standards from the UK and Germany. Specifically, Kuwait is prepared to accept 500 medical workers (nurses) from Uzbekistan.
The discussions included topics such as mutual recognition of qualifications and measures to facilitate the adaptation process for Uzbek nurses in Kuwait, including organizing language courses and cultural exchanges.
