Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Information on the fact that all pensioners are transferred to HUMO cards is actively disseminated in social networks. However, the choice of which card to issue and to whom to give it out is decided at the bank level. NMPC issues as many cards as indicated in the bank's application.

To date, according to information from the Khalq Bank, a total of 1,228,000 cards have been issued for pensioners, of which only 391,000 are HUMO cards, which is 32%.

On 7 and 8 May, from 11:00 to 13:00, difficulties were observed when making payments at POS terminals, which was the result of a large one-time transfer of funds to pension cards and, as a result of this sharp increase in the demand for cash withdrawal through cash desks of banks and ATMs.

All this led to short-term peak loads on the system, which was reflected in an increase in the number of unsuccessful operations. At the same time, this situation did not affect the operation of ATMs and electronic payment systems.

At the moment, work continues on expanding the capacities of the processing center and improving the software.

To create additional amenities for customers, together with Khalq Bank, work is underway to optimize the service of pensioners who hold HUMO cards by relocating ATMs and opening additional cash desks.

“We apologize to the cardholders for the current situation. HUMO is a relatively new system, work on its improvement continues. We do our best to justify the trust of our customers and make this system as convenient and reliable as possible,” said Shukhratbek Kurbanov, director of the National Interbank Processing Center LLC.
