Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek company Krantas Group has developed the first national armored personnel carrier "Arslon," meeting NATO standards.

According to O’zbekiston 24 TV channel, the armed forces will soon receive the new Arslon APC.

The Arslon armored personnel carrier is equipped with a modern combat module and is capable of performing combat missions both day and night.

This eight-wheeled APC has front protection of Class 6 and side protection of Class 4. The vehicle’s weight ranges from 32 to 35 tons.

Arslon is armed with a 30mm cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun.

The APC can transport up to 11 people, including three crew members and eight troops.

Its mine protection capability is equivalent to 10 kg of TNT.

In addition, the Uzbek armed forces will receive an updated version of the light armored vehicle Tarlon-M.

This vehicle is equipped with secure digital communication and satellite navigation, as well as a domestic combat module.

Tarlon-M has successfully passed factory tests and is currently undergoing military trials before being delivered to the army.
