Kovalenko to officiate AFC Champions League play-off match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbek referees led by Valentin Kovalenko will officiate the play-off match of the AFC Champions League in February.
The AFC appointed the Uzbek trio to the match between Al Ettifaq (Saudi Arabia) and the winner of the match between Istiklal and Zobahan (both Iran).
Uzbekistan Football Federation said that the match will be held in Tehran or Isfahan (both in Iran) on 18 February 2012.
Rafael Ilyasov and Mamur Saidkasimov (Uzbekistan) will assist Kovalenko in the match. Vadim Agishev is the fourth official.
