Korean Kim to referee final
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Korea Republic referee Kim Dong-jin has been given the honour of officiating Saturday's historic AFC Cup final between Nasaf Karshi and 2009 winners Kuwait Sports Club, which marks the first time an AFC club tournament decider has featured a club from Uzbekistan.

The experienced 38-year-old refereed three matches at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup back in January and also took charge of four games in this year's AFC Champions League, including the 'Saudi derby' between Riyadh giants Al Hilal and the arch-rivals Al Ittihad, the two-time ACL winners from Jeddah.

Kim, who has been a FIFA international referee since 2005, is officiating a match in Uzbekistan for the second time in little over a month having taken charge of the 2012 Olympics, qualifying round 3 Group B clash between Uzbekistan and Iraq on September 21.

Kim will be assisted by Jeong Hae-sang and Lee Jung-min with fourth official Kim Jeong-hyeok completing the Korean quartet.
