Kolomensky Zavod sends four passenger diesel locomotives to Uzbekistan in 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kolomensky Zavod completed a programme on supply of four passenger diesel locomotives TEP70BS to Uzbekiston Temir Yollari state joint stock railway company.

Overall, the Russian company delivered four new passenger diesel locomotives. Last passenger diesel locomotives left the Russian enterprise in the beginning of December 2011.

Kolomensky Zavod started to supply TEP70BS diesel locomotives in 2007 and currently the Uzbek company has 8 locomotives. They carry out passenger transportations between Bukhara-Samarkand, Uchquduq, Urgench-Qarshi.

Kolomensky Zavod has been supplying its products to Uzbekistan for a long time, since the Soviet Union. The company delivered TEP70 diesel locomotives in 1970-1980s.
