Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 18 to 22 September, the training program for “Capacity Building on Child-Centered Learning Environment in Uzbekistan” was held in Tashkent. 

The event was held as part of the KOICA’s CIAT program. KOICA stands for Korea International Cooperation Agency and was established as a government agency dedicated to grant aid programs. 

CIAT is a cooperation program where policy-makers, public servants, and experts from developing countries are invited for technical training and knowledge sharing. Like its acronym that sounds like “seed” in Korean, CIAT hopes to spread seeds of hope across partner countries. It has established partnerships with a multitude of public organizations, research institutes, universities, and others in Korea to offer quality training programs. Several projects have already been carried out in Uzbekistan.

The goal of this program, Capacity Building on Child-Centered Learning Environment in Uzbekistan, is to create a child-centered early childhood education environment by improving the capacity of decision-makers and affiliated organizations of the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Accomplishing program goals through capacity building and helping to partner countries' long-term socioeconomic growth. Participants will get insight and information about quality children's education through this activity.

The project will be continued until 2025.
