Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) will provide a grant of US$4.5 million to increase the potential of IT Park.

The management of KOICA and the Directorate of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan (IT Park) signed a protocol of discussion on the project "Formation of the foundations for stable development and increasing the potential of IT Park of the Republic of Uzbekistan."

The document was signed within the framework of the meeting of the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov with the Deputy President of KOICA Im Jeong Hee.

The parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the ICT field, the implementation of new projects to support startups, the further development of cooperation with Korean technology parks on the development of the start-up ecosystem and the ICT sector, including by improving incubation and acceleration programs.
