KOICA in Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan hold a meeting.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Korea international cooperation agency (KOICA) in Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan hold a mutual meeting, within the framework of conducting implementation survey of the Project “Building foundation and strengthening capabilities for sustainable growth of Uzbekistan IT Park” (in 2021-2025), the budget of the project is US$4.5 million. The funds will be allocated on grant aid basis.

Director of the KOICA Uzbekistan Ms. Park Sunjin, Deputy Director Ms. Hyun Youn Jo and CEO of IT Park Mr. Farkhod Ibragimov and other representatives of both Parties are participated in the meeting CEO of IT Park.

The results of implementation survey of the Project were presented as well as issues of long term perspectives of mutual collaboration IT Park were discussed.

Within 1 month from 27 October 2020- 26 November 2020 consultant and K-experts hold more than 15 online sessions interviewing government and international organizations representatives, as well as ministries, agencies, private and government companies, universities, tenants of IT Park, who is involve in the development process of information technologies in Uzbekistan, including UNDP Uzbekistan, World Bank, OSCE and other organizations, ministries, agencies and IT companies. These sessions were hold to perform deep analysis and research of IT market conditions in Uzbekistan, discussing development plans, collaboration and correct direction in cooperation between organizations and IT Park.     

The long-term Operational Master plan for IT Park management and strengthening capacity building of the IT Park personnel as well as provide support in equipping to improve infrastructure, educational IT programs and material and technical basis.
