Within the visit, the delegation visited construction field of Ustyurt Gas-Chemical Complex and got acquainted with Surgil field construction, the Uzbek company said.

Choo Kangsoo said: “The project on construction of Ustyurt Gas-Chemical Complex is the largest, which is implemented between South Korea and Uzbekistan. We believe that this project is successfully realized and this year we are waiting for speeding it up.”

KOGAS delegation also held negotiations with the management of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company with the participation of representatives of other South Korean company KOLON, the statement said.

The sides exchanged opinion on realization of existing projects and determined new directions of cooperation, including development of joint projects with use of compressed natural gas.
