Ergen Tursynbaev added that Ko-UNG Cylinder will start serial production of automobile gas cylinders, which work on compressed gas, at Navoi free industrial and economic zone.
He said that in the result, the joint venture will create additional 566 new jobs.
Tursynbaev said that it is also planned to organize production of modern gas meters (Uztransgaz) and energy saving boilers (Shortan Gas Chemical Complex).
In March 2011, Avtogaztaminot, Zavod Uzbekkhimmash (both Uzbekistan), KOGAS, KOLON and NK (South Korea) also founded a joint venture Ko UNG Cylinder, which will produce equipment for CNG stations.
Ko Ung Cylinder was founded in Navoi free industrial and economic zone and it will produce 120,000 units of automobile gas containers. The project cost is US$10 million.
