In particular, the region plans to realize 94 projects on production of food products and 159 projects on output of non-food goods.

SV SHOVOT will commission an enterprise on production of 4,000 tonnes of tomato paste a year.

Uzbegim Khorzm in Urgench district will start to pack tomato paste and jams. Best Butter Production in Urgench will produce ketchup and mayonnaise in the third quarter of 2013.

In 2013, Khazarasm and Yangibazar districts will launch enterprises on processing 100 tonnes of fruits and vegetables a year. Within the programme, some 20 projects on processing of meat and milk products will be implemented as well.

Tolib Akmal farm in Bogat district will implement a project on processing 700 tonnes of milk and 100 tonnes of meat a year. In the second quarter of 2013, the shop on processing sausage products will be launched at the farm.

At the same time, Rajab Matnazar in Shavat district, Elik Chorva Nasl in Urgench region will also launch production of sausage products.
