Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution "On measures to further improve the e-government system, as well as the introduction of the procedure for the provision of electronic reports by state bodies and organizations to the public on their activities".
In accordance with the resolution, information systems and information resources of ministries, state committees, committees, agencies, departments, local government bodies, as well as economic management bodies with a state share will be included in the Single Register of Information Systems and E-Government Resources (Single Register) in the authorized capital in the amount of 50 percent or more.
State bodies and organizations are prohibited from developing and using information systems that repeat the functional tasks of information systems included in a single register.
Starting from 1 September 2020, the procedure for providing the public with an electronic report by government bodies, their territorial divisions, as well as the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats on their activities is being introduced.
The single register and the information system “Register of reference books and classifiers of electronic government” will be put into effect until 1 January 2021.
The State Inspectorate for Control in the Sphere of Informatization and Telecommunications will monitor the inclusion of all information systems of state bodies and organizations in a single register.
