Preliminarily, two months of precipitation is expected, the press service of the Tashkent khokimiyat reports.

In this regard, the capital’s Khokimiyat calls:

Do not travel unless necessary, try to minimize the use of personal vehicles, and use public transport to get around.

Avoid being near multi-storey buildings from which snow and ice may fall.

Do not move around on the street with headphones on - this may result in you not being able to hear an approaching car or snow falling on you.

Do not leave cars under multi-story buildings and structures, as well as trees.

In case of interruptions in electricity or gas supply, contact the Central Dispatch Service at 1055.

The services of the khokimiyat, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the Main Department for Improvement of the City of Tashkent and other involved organizations are on standby to quickly eliminate the consequences of the snowfall.
