Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to provide full support to our athletes preparing for licensing competitions and to encourage athletes who have received licenses for the Olympic Games, our government is carrying out large-scale work.

In particular, today the khokimiyat of Tashkent region presented Gentra cars to three of our athletes - Tursuna Rakhimova, Elnur Abduraimov and Akbar Juraev, who were awarded a license for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Representatives of the khokimiyat of Tashkent region, relatives and coaches of our athletes attended the car delivery ceremony.

The gifts were presented by the khokim of Tashkent region, Senator Rustam Kholmatov. Rustam Kholmatov expressed gratitude to the athletes who worthily defend the honor of Uzbekistan and wished them success in the future. It should be noted that Elnur Abduraimov is currently in the United States, and his father, Nurgali Abduraimov, took part in the award ceremony.
