Khazorasp-textile to expand its capacity
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Khazorasp-textile, venture located in Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, plans to install new spinning equipment for US$800,000 in the first half of 2009 to expand its production.
Jahon news agency reported that Asaka Bank helped modernize the enterprise with new equipment and the capacity of the venture reached 2,200 tonnes a year.
The company produced nearly 2,000 tonnes of cotton-year, of which 1,300 were exported, the report said.
