Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Khalq Bank receives a loan in the national currency of the country from Sovcombank of Russia. 

The loan agreement was signed on 6 April 2021 during the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition in Tashkent.

The loan for 418.9 billion Uzbek soums, which is equivalent to 40 million US dollars, was provided for a period of 4 years.

The loan agreement was signed by Farhod Salamov, Chairman of the Board of Khalk Bank, and Dmitry Gusev, Chairman of the Board of Sovcombank.
