The agreement was signed on 14 March by the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investments, the Executive Director of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Vafayev, the head of the Asian Health Department of KfW Bank Amelie D’Souza and the project manager Andrea Greikar.

According to the State Committee for Investments of Uzbekistan, the funds will be used to support the operation, maintenance and maintenance of medical equipment, as well as to finance the introduction of new methods of medical care, clinical guidelines, standards for reliable and environmentally safe disposal of medical waste.

The funds will be used to implement the project to modernize the regional level multidisciplinary medical centers.
