The bank’s press service said that in line with agreement on financial cooperation, Uzbekistan and Germany reached agreement on allocation of mortgage loan to population of Uzbekistan to conduct the programme on support of financial sector.
According to the agreement, German banks are helping Uzbekistan in various sectors of economy. The agreement was reached on allocation of 5 million euro by KfW to finance mortgage loans.
The bank said that representatives of Ipoteka Bank and KfW held negotiations and in the result of the talks, Ipoteka Bank, KfW and Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan signed a general agreement on allocation of 5 million euros to the Uzbek bank.
Allocated resources will be directed to issue credits to individuals to purchase, construct and reconstruct habitations.
