Kelajak Ovozi opens information rooms at eight Tashkent universities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi” opened information rooms and free Wi-Fi zones at eight universities in Tashkent.

Fund Forum, Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi” and Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education will open information rooms “Kelajak Ovozi” and Wi-Fi zones at 25 universities in Tashkent on 11-18 February. The project is directed at informing students about competitions, stipends, grants and other projects of Fund Forum for youth.

First two rooms were launched at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Tashkent State Law Institute.

New information rooms were launched at Tashkent Finance Institute, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Tashkent Institute for Textile and Light Industry, Tashkent Medical Academy, National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Tashkent State Technical Universit named after Abu Rayhon Beruni, Tax Academy, Uzbek State World Languages University.

At the information rooms, students can receive answers on youth programmes of Fund Forum and Kelajak Ovozi, participate in trainings, campaigns and events.

Information rooms will also allow students to familiarize with latest developments in Uzbekistan and the world.

Kelajak Ovozi said that Wi-Fi zones are created in cooperation with the State Committee on communication, information and telecommunication technologies of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. The project is aimed at promoting Internet among use, which should help to develop internet resources in Uzbekistan.

Currently, information rooms have been opened at 40 educational establishments of Uzbekistan. In 2012, over 4,500 students received information on projects of Fund Forum and Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi”.
