The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan passed the law "On ratification of the Protocol on integration of the Central Asian Cooperation Organization (CAC) into the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC)" at its plenary session on 28 June.
The protocol was delivered on 23 June 2006, in Minsk with the view of CAC’s integration into the EurAsEC, according to Kazinform.
The protocol’s entry into legal force terminates the Treaty between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on establishment of the Central Asian Cooperation Organization as of 28 February 2002.
