Kasimov called 23 players to his squad, but only 20 of them will travel to Baku after a training camp in Tashkent on 16-18 August. Uzbekistan will face Azerbaijan in Baku, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Kasimov said that there could be changes in the squad after next match day of the Uzbek football league. He said that the players can receive injuries in the match day and some players can be replaced.

The match between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will be held on 20 August. The match will kick off at Bakcell Arena at 21:00.
