Asian Football Against Hunger campaign will be held in September-November 2012, the Uzbek club underlined.

Currently, about 1 billion people are facing food shortage. Professional football players can help financial and moral aid to millions of families in Asia, who faces hunger.

AFC and the UN agencies has been cooperating since 2010 to render assistance to starving people. The campaign will be continued in autumn 2012 within the AFC Champions League.

All eight quarterfinalists of the AFC Champions League expressed their readiness to contribute to the campaign.

Bunyodkor said that Victor Karpenko, skipper of Uzbekistan champions, has been appointed as envoy from the Uzbek club.
