Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Cellulose from Karelia will be supplied to Uzbekistan to support the country’s construction and road sectors.
A supply contract was signed between the RK-Grand plant and INNO-PANEL LLC. The first shipment of 60 tons of cellulose is scheduled to be dispatched soon, as reported by the press service of the Government of Karelia.
According to the information provided, the cellulose order was placed during a business mission led by the Head of Karelia, Artur Parfenchikov, on his recent visit to Uzbekistan. The Karelian product is expected to enhance the quality and durability of building materials produced by the Uzbek company.
The addition of processed cellulose fibers to traditional construction materials will provide extra flexibility and strength, broadening their application range. For example, cement-fiber composite material, known as fiber cement, is widely used in construction and road projects, particularly in seismically active areas.
