The industrial production increased by 9.4%, production of consumer goods – 9.2%, agriculture output – 7%, retail trade turnover – 21.3% and services – 10.5% in the reporting period.

Share of small and private businesses in the gross regional product increased from 26.9% in 2000 to 63.6% in 2010. This sector received loans for 106 billion soums in 2010.

The session noted that the construction of plant on cement production with the capacity of 1 million tonnes a year is continuing. The construction of Gas-Chemical Complex, which will process 4 billion cubic meters of gas a year, will be launched at Surgil field at Ustyurt.

It was noted that it is planned to increase share of small and private businesses in the gross regional product up to 64% in 2011, create 43,000 new jobs and launch 2,300 small enterprises in 2011.
