According to the bank, Kapitalbank acquired 24,451,347 ordinary shares of the insurance company, which makes up 61.13% from its charter capital.

Charter capital of Kapital Sug’urta made up 4 billion soums, which comprises of 40 million ordinary shares with nominal value of 100 soums.

Kapital Sug’urta has been founded in 1991. The company has license of the Finance Ministry of Uzbekistan, which allows it to carry out operations on 13 classes of general insurance, including voluntary and mandatory insurance.

In 2010, the company claimed the eighth place on collected insurance premiums, ninth place on insurance payouts and 12th place on investments.
