The system said that its clients now can send and receive remittances at any branches of Kapitalbank across Uzbekistan, including Tashkent city, Ferghana region, Samarkand region, Surkhandarya region, Bukhara region, Namangan region and Karakalpakstan. Overall, the bank has 85 money transfer points.

The interest rates on money transfer are between 0.4% and 1.5% based on the transfer sum. The remittances can be sent and received in the US dollars.

Yuriy Kamakin, chairperson of the board of LIDER, said that Uzbekistan is leader among the CIS states on the volume of issued remittances. He said that cooperation with Kapitalbank is another step in ensuring accessibility of money transfer system to clients.
