Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- KAFOLAT Insurance Company signed more than 320,000 insurance contracts worth 80.3 billion soums in the first half of 2020.

It should be noted that the company is one of the leaders in the domestic insurance market for the provision of compulsory insurance services. In particular, according to the results of 6 months of 2020, 11.1 billion soums of insurance premiums were collected on compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners.

As a result of significant and large-scale work on insurance of civil liability of the employer for the reporting period, the company managed to collect 8.86 billion soums of insurance premiums and take 2nd place among insurers working in this area.

Under the compulsory civil liability insurance of the carrier, insurance premiums were collected in the amount of 800.2 million soums, where the company also took 1st place among competitors.

In the first half of the year, the company reviewed 4,172 insurance claims for which 16.8 billion soums of insurance claims were paid, which is 23 insurance payments per day. The main part of payments falls on compulsory insurance of civil liability of the employer, compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners and voluntary types of insurance. The volume of insurance payments in comparison with the same period last year increased by 2.64 billion soums, on average, the company pays 93.3 million soums of insurance indemnities daily.

During the reporting period, the total number of regional divisions of the company reached 231 units.

In the first half of 2020, the existing types of insurance were improved and 3 new insurance products were developed. Such as the:

Insurance of medical personnel against accidents and infectious diseases;

Insurance of citizens against accidents on the territory of recreation areas;

Traveler insurance against accidents when visiting historical monuments.
