Kafolat collects 3.399bn soums of premiums from MICLE
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The volume of insurance premiums, collected by Kafolat state joint stock insurance company from mandatory insurance of civil liabilities of employers (MICLE) in nine months of 2012, made up 3.399 billion soums, manager on the company on general insurance Akramjon Sharobiddinov said.
He said that the company signed 4,522 agreements on MICLE in January-September 2012 compared to 5,756 in twelve months of 2011.
The volume of insurance liabilities on MICLE reached over 2.259 trillion soums in nine months of 2012 against 1.406 trillion soums in January-December 2011.
In nine months of 2012, Kafolat satisfied 74 applications (78 in 12 months of 2011) for totalsum of 595.176 million soums (718.477 million soums in 2011).
The law “On mandatory insurance of civil liabilities of employers” came into force in October 2009. Since that period, Kafolat collected insurance premiums for 6.98 billion soums and insurance liabilities reached 4.863 trillion soums.
In the past years, the company paid 1.4 billion soums of insurance premiums on 171 applications.
