Last year, JICA handed over ion chromatograph to this institute to raise potential in research of water quality for existence of anions and cations. The assistance was effective and it allowed to improve accuracy of analysis and decrease expenses and time for research.

JICA handed over additional equipment for monitoring water quality, which includes absorption spectrometer, gas chromatograph and additional equipment, as well as computer for improving data collection and analysis.

The equipment will be used by Institute and it will allow to improve accuracy of water analysis for heavy metals and organic pollution substances. It will be also used to develop new standards and research methods.
