Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chinese company Jiangsu Tonke Real Estate Co., Ltd. plans to build residential, commercial, and social complexes in the "New Namangan" town, with a total investment of US$750 million, as stated by the press service of the Namangan region khokimiyat.
A delegation led by Yang Bo, President of Jiangsu Tonke Real Estate Co., Ltd. and member of the Advisory Council of Jiangsu Province, visited the "New Namangan" town on a working visit and selected land plots for construction.
On 9 January, the foreign enterprise TK China town Namangan was registered.
According to the Unified State Register of Enterprises (EGRPO), the company, with a charter capital of 500 million soums, is engaged in the construction of residential buildings. Yang Bo is the sole founder and director of the company.
On an area of 66 hectares, residential complexes, office, commercial, and service infrastructure, a kindergarten, school, and mosque will be built.
Moreover, Chinese investors familiarized themselves with the activities of the "Namanganmash" enterprise and visited the DB Group fishing cluster in Uchkurgan and the small industrial zone "Urikzor" in Chartak.
As part of the first phase of the "New Namangan" project, 184 houses with 8,500 apartments were built on an area of 330 hectares. Furthermore, 145 hectares have been designated for small industrial zones, where 10,000 new jobs have been created.
In March 2022, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev became familiar with the second phase of the "New Namangan" construction project. Specifically, the construction of 171 houses with 20,000 apartments on 272 hectares is planned.
