Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the work to attract private foreign investment in the economy of the republic, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan M. Abdurakhmonov held talks with the president of Cosmo Beauty Co. Ltd by Takashi Yamazoe. 

Cosmo Beauty Co. Ltd, started its activity as a manufacturer of chemical products in 1949, and since 1986 cosmetics. Later, the company began to produce medicines. The company’s annual sales volume exceeds US$450 million, the product range is more than 4 thousand kinds.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan M. Abdurakhmonov highlighted the large-scale reforms carried out in the republic under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, presented the investment potential of Uzbekistan, as well as the activities of Japanese business in the republic.

During the visit, a visit to the company’s production facilities and a study of the entire chain of production of cosmetic products was organized. For his part, the President of Cosmo Beauty Co. Ltd T.Yamazoe expressed readiness to establish cooperation with Uzbek companies, including the production of cosmetic products under developed Uzbek brands and for the Uzbek market.

During the meeting, T. Yamazoe said that he wanted to visit Uzbekistan and asked for assistance in finding a partner from the Uzbek side and provide information about the cosmetics market and manufacturers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In view of the foregoing, in order to attract Cosmo Beauty to the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan, as well as organizing a visit of company representatives to the republic, please forward the results of negotiations with the company to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and assist in obtaining information about the cosmetics market and manufacturers, as well as potential partners for further transfer of Japanese side.
