The concerts were organized by Eurasian Club and Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan at support of Fund Forum and Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan, as well as Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The musicians performed both traditional and modern Japanese music at the concerts. The concert tour was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Japan, 90th anniversary of honourable professor of Japanese Ethnology National Museum Kyudzo Kato and to support to preserve cultural heritage and excavations of Buddhism monuments in Karatepa.
During 20 years of excavations and study of monuments in Uzbekistan, Kyudzo Kato contributed to development of bilateral scientific exchange and friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Japan.
At the concerns, the Japanese musicians presented the music of the Great Silk Road, which were performed with help of national musical instruments of various Asian nations.
