Japanese delegation discusses healthcare, IT, and hospitality development with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 April 2025, Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, met with a Japanese delegation led by the Mayor of Nara, Gen Nakagawa.
The delegation included representatives from leading Japanese companies such as Forest Home, Morinaraduketen, Clam Group, Nara Kotsu Bus Lines, Withonoware, Rire Stage, Seiwa Giken, Sakurug, Seiyo Kosan, Reiwa Switch, and others.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation. The main focus was on developing collaboration in sectors such as healthcare, information and communication technologies, hospitality, and expanding the export of Uzbek food products to the Japanese market.
The Japanese side highly praised the joint business forum held on April 17 in Samarkand, emphasizing its importance for strengthening business ties between the cities of Nara and Samarkand.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the Japanese delegation confirmed their readiness to continue developing mutually beneficial partnerships and implement joint projects in priority areas.
