It is worth to note that the sides showed entertaining match and both sides had chances to score. But, the sides could not open the score in the first half. Abdukahhor Hodjiakbarov and Timurkhodja Abdukhalikov had good chances to score in the first half.

In the second half, Blue Samurais were more careful in their own half. In the 76th minute of the match, Keigo Higashi opened the score after cute pass from the partners. Two minutes later, Kensuke Nagai doubled the lead of Japan.

In the 82nd minute, Otabek Valadjanov netted the only goal of Uzbekistan after the cross from left side. The match ended with 2-1 victory of Japan.
