Japan government will allocate 307 million yens or about US$3 million to enable Uzbek students to study in Japan.

It is expected that Uzbekistan and Japan will exchange notes within programme "On allocation of stipends to train staff" this week.

About 20 Uzbek students receive opportunity to study to obtain master degree in Japan. After return to Uzbekistan, students help to development and prosperity of Uzbekistan.

Japan embassy in Uzbekistan said the Japan government allocated US$25 million since 1999 to help Uzbek students to study in Japan.
