As earlier reported, Office of Cabinet of Japan awarded Khojiakbar Rasulov, head of the Civil Service Department of the Tashkent City Administration, was awarded with Sunrise Order.

Mr. Rasulov was awarded for his solicitous care and work on improvement of state of cemetery of the Japanese military servicemen, who died during the World War II in the territory of Uzbekistan. He became the first Uzbek citizen, who received this order.

According to official data, 817 Japanese servicemen were buried at separate cemeteries in the Uzbek territory.
